The RDCPL team has played a pivotal role in transforming India's energy landscape by executing civil works for Bulk LPG Storage facilities, ensuring the supply of LPG cylinders to households across the nation. RDCPL proudly contributed to critical infrastructure development at HPCL Plants in Varanasi, Jabalpur, and Sitarganj, which now serve as vital hubs, catering to the LPG supply needs of large segments of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The scope of work included constructing robust foundations for Bulk LPG Storage tanks, side roads, drainage systems, retaining walls, water tanks, pipeline pedestals, trestle bridges for cable and pipe, unloading sheds, and other essential miscellaneous works. RDCPL’s meticulous planning, superior craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence ensured these projects were completed efficiently. This initiative has provided millions of countrymen with access to clean cooking fuel, significantly reducing their exposure to harmful emissions and preventing numerous health issues caused by traditional cooking methods. Strengthening Cross-Border Energy Infrastructure: Our Landmark Project at IOCL Motihari Terminal

The RDCPL team has successfully executed one of the nation's flagships and strategically critical projects—the construction of key facilities at the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) Motihari terminal. The construction scope encompassed a diverse array of infrastructure, including:

  • Tank Foundations:
    • Civil works for 12 vertical tank foundations, incorporating sand filling and an anti-corrosive protective layer to ensure durability.
  • Pedestal Work:
    • Foundations for the product line and hydrant line pipes, ensuring structural integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Fire Water Systems:
    • Construction of fire water tanks and manifolds, pump house flooring, pump foundations, and cable trenches, ensuring fire safety and compliance with stringent safety standards.
  • Underground Tanks:
    • Foundations for 3 underground tanks, designed for long-term resilience.
  • Piping Infrastructure:
    • Civil works for MS pipe drains, cable tray foundations, pipe bridge foundations, and underground Hume pipe installations.
  • Valve and Manhole Structures:
    • Creation of 16 valve pits and 14 manholes, ensuring effective control and maintenance access.
  • Oil and Water Storage Tanks:
    • Construction of oil collection tanks, holding tanks, and an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) for environmental sustainability.
  • Valve Operating Platforms:
    • Foundations for valve operating platforms and additional pipe support infrastructure.

The terminal boasts an impressive storage capacity of 76,215 KL, making it a key facility in the region's energy network. RDCPL’s exemplary civil engineering expertise and adherence to stringent timelines have ensured the smooth progression of this strategically vital project. This initiative not only strengthens the nation’s petroleum infrastructure but also enhances bilateral cooperation with Nepal, enabling seamless fuel supply and reducing logistical challenges.
